India showed its best-ever performance at the Paralympics 2024. India won 29 medals—seven gold, nine silver, and 13 bronze. India has set a new record by winning all these medals.

India also showed the best performance in archery. Sheetal Devi, who is an armless archer, set a world record. She made a world record along with Rakesh Kumar in the Double Archery match. She is only 17 years old and has become India’s youngest Paralympic medallist. She won a bronze medal in the double Archery game with Rakesh. Additionally, Harvinder Singh became India’s first Paralympic archery champion and made history.
The Paris 2024 Paralympics have been overall incredible for India. Their achievements showed the hard work, talent, and dedication of their athletes. They made history and set a new benchmark for success at the Paralympic Games.
