Sid Vicious, Pro Wrestling Icon, Passes Away at 63

Sid Eudy, who was a famous wrestler, known as Sid Vicious, Sid Justice, and Sycho Sid, has passed away at the age of 63. He was facing a persistent battle with cancer. This news was announced by his son, Gunnar Eudy, when he shared a Warm-hearted post on social media.

“I am heartbroken to announce that my father, Sid Eudy, has passed away after a courageous fight with cancer,” Gunnar wrote on Facebook. “He was a man of extraordinary strength, kindness, and love, and his presence will be deeply missed. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this difficult time. Details regarding a memorial service will be shared soon. Thank you for your support.”

The WWE community said that “WWE is deeply saddened to learn of Sid Eudy’s passing,” the company stated on X. “We offer our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and fans during this time of grief.”

Sid Eudy’s professional career has been incredible. Sid Eudy had gained everyone’s attention due to his 6 feet 9 inches height when in1987 he entered the wrestling under the persona of Lord Humongous in Continental Championship Wrestling. He had won the NWA Southeastern Heavyweight Championship with his hard work and dedication.

Eudy made his WWE debut in 1991 as Sid Justice and presented himself as a strong opponent for other wrestlers.

He had memorable matches, including a big fight against Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania VIII and tough rivalries with The Ultimate Warrior. He had gained huge popularity among fans due to his strong presence.

In 1993, Eudy returned to WCW  and became one of the best wrestling stars due to his incredible performance. His major battles were with Sting and Vader. During his time at WCW, he gave outstanding performances. He has won big wins, such as the famous WarGames match and other notable feuds in the mid-1990s.

In Eudy’s incredible wrestling career, he has won the WWF Championship twice. He first got the title by beating Shawn Michaels and later won it against  Bret Hart. In WCW, he also won the World Heavyweight Championship in 1999, which made his career more impressive.

He got a serious leg fracture in 2001 but Eudy still decided to continue his wrestling career. He had this injury during a big match at “Sin in Indianapolis.” Even after this injury, he returned to WWE in 2012 and 2017.

Sid Eudy had a great passion for softball. He had a remarkable personality which is admired by his fans. His commitment to his wrestling career. Eudy had contributed a lot to wrestling.
