مراکش میں ایک خانقاہ ہے جہاں کوئی حصول علم کے لئے جاتا تو اس کا سر منڈوا دیا جاتا اور اسےبڑے دروازے پر بٹھا دیا جاتا کہ وہ ہر آنے والے کے جوتے سیدھے کرتا رہے-
جب وہ پورے ذوق و شوق سے یہ کام کرنے لگتا تو اسکی ترقی کر دی جاتی اور اسے مہمانوں کے کھانے کے بعد برتن اٹھانے پر لگا دیا جاتا، جب وہ اس میں بھی اپنا شوق شامل کر لیتا تو اسے برتن دھونے کی ڈیوٹی دے دی جاتی، جب وہ اس میں بھی اپنی لگن سے کامیاب ہو جاتا تو اسے مہمانوں کو کھانا پیش کرنے پر معمور کر دیا جاتا۔۔۔۔۔۔۔
حتیٰ کی ترقی کرتے کرتے وہ صاحب علم مرشد کا قرب حاصل کر لیتا کیونکہ اب اس میں وہ انا جو پہلے دن تھی موجود ہی نہ تھی۔ لہٰذا انا ایک رکاوٹ ہے حصول علم و معرفت میں۔
“مولانا روم رحمتہ اللہ علیہ فرماتے ہیں ‘جب میں اور تُو ایک ہو جاتے ہیں تو دوئی نہیں رہتی جب دوئی ہی نہ رہے تو انا کیسی'”
