In a distant river, a fisherman cast his baited hook with a piece of meat, only to watch it disappear into the depths. Before long, a curious fish darted forward, eager to feast on this unexpected bounty. But a wise, larger fish intervened, cautioning against such rashness.
“Do not devour this morsel without care,” it warned, “for hidden within lies a thorn that eludes even the keenest eye. Once consumed, it will lodge in your throat, defying all attempts to be dislodged. Your struggles will be witnessed by the fisherman outside, and in his delight, he will employ a fine thread to extract you. With a blade, he will cut you into pieces, season you with spices, and cook you in boiling oil. Then, with fingers bearing ten, ten digits each, he will consume you.”
With this forewarning, the larger fish departed. The smaller fish, undaunted by the admonition, embarked on its own exploration. It observed no hunter, no fire, no oil, no seasoning, no ten-fingered creature with thirty-two teeth. All was as it should be.
In disbelief, the smaller fish declared the larger one an ignorant storyteller, peddling tales of a bygone era. Its own research yielded no evidence of the looming threats. Every word spoken by the larger fish seemed devoid of truth, mere echoes of forgotten times. It had witnessed no such horrors.
The smaller fish dismissed the archaic notions and, propelled by personal experience, took the plunge. The meat was devoured, the thorn was chewed, yet there was no agony. The fish swam freely, untouched by fire, unscathed by the hunter’s grasp. It emerged, baffling the fisherman with its unanticipated survival.
The tale of these fishes, rooted in ancient allegory, mirrors the teachings of prophets who foretold events beyond mortal perception. Wise individuals, akin to the larger fish, heeded their words and found purpose in life. Meanwhile, those akin to the smaller fish, fixated on empirical evidence, forged their own paths, discarding the wisdom of ages for the pursuit of immediate gains.

ایک شکاری نے کنڈی میں گوشت کی بوٹی لگا کر دریا میں پھینکی ۔ ایک مچھلی اسے کھانے دوڑی ۔ وہیں ایک بڑی مچھلی نے اسے روکا کہ اسے منہ نہ لگانا ، اس کے اندر ایک چھپا ہوا کانٹا ھے جو تجھے نظر نہیں آرہا۔ بوٹی کھاتے ہی وہ کانٹا تیرے حلق میں چبھ جائے گا ، جو ہزار کوششوں کے بعد بھی نہیں نکلے گا ۔ تیرے تڑپنے سے باہر بیٹھے شکاری کو اس باریک ڈوری سے خبر ہوجائےگی۔ تو تڑپے گی وہ خوش ہوگا، اس باریک ڈور کے زریعے تجھے باہر نکالے گا، چھری سے تیرے ٹکڑے کریگا، مرچ مسالحہ لگا کر آگ پر ابلتے تیل میں تجھے پکائے گا، 10 ، 10 انگلیوں والے انسان 32 ، 32 دانتوں سے چبا چبا کر تجھے کھائیں گے۔ یہ تیرا انجام ہوگا۔
بڑی مچھلی یہ کہہ کر چلی گئی۔ چھوٹی مچھلی نے دریا میں ریسرچ شروع کردی ، نہ شکاری ، نہ آگ ، نہ کھولتا تیل ، نہ مرچ مسالحہ ، نہ دس دس انگلیوں اور بتیس بتیس دانتوں والے انسان ، کچھ بھی نہیں تھا ۔ چھوٹی مچھلی کہنے لگی یہ بڑی مچھلی انپڑھ جاہل ، پتھر کے زمانے کی باتیں کرنیوالی ، کوئی حقیقت نہیں اسکی باتوں میں ۔ میں نے خود ریسرچ کی ھے ، اسکی بتائی ہوئی کسی بات میں بھی سچائی نہیں ، میرا زاتی مشاہدہ ھے ، وہ ایسے ہی سنی سنائی نام نہاد غیب کی باتوں پر یقین کیئے بیٹھی ھے ، اس ماڈرن سائنسی دور میں بھی پرانے فرسودہ نظریات لیئے ہوئے ھے۔
چنانچہ اس نے اپنے زاتی مشاہدے کی بنیاد پر بوٹی کو منہ ڈالا ، کانٹا چبھا ، مچھلی تڑپی ، شکاری نے ڈور کھینچ کر باہر نکالا ، آگے بڑی مچھلی کے بتائے ہوئے سارے حالات سامنے آگئے۔
انبیاء علیھم السلام نے انسانوں کو موت کا کانٹا چبھنے کے بعد پیش آنے والے غیب کے سارے حالات و واقعات تفصیل سے بتا دیئے ہیں ۔ بڑی مچھلی کیطرح کے عقلمند انسانوں نے انبیاء کی باتوں کو مان کر زندگی گزارنی شروع کردی۔ چھوٹی مچھلی والے نظریات رکھنے والے انبیاء کا رستہ چھوڑ کر اپنی ظاہری ریسرچ کے رستہ پر چل رہے۔
موت کا کانٹا چبھنے کے بعد سارے حالات سامنے آجائیں گے۔
